Water, in all its Forms

This weekend saw us skating on the ice, swimming in the lake, and enjoying the steam of a sauna (some of us anyway – I can’t breathe in those things).

Bronwyn tested out her brother’s stinky hand-me-down hockey gear, and looked solid on the ice. She is one tough little cookie. The only thing missing is some girly under armor. Auntie Lee has been charged with sourcing some pink and purple under-gear for our girl. She can be all boy on the outside, but she should be able to be a bit girly underneath!

From the rink, we scooted strait to the lake for an afternoon in the sun. Both kids have really grown in their comfort level in the water. Finn was snorkeling all over in search of crayfish, and Bronwyn finally felt confident enough to let go of her mama and swim on her own. The cute purple-striped rainbow fish ring didn’t hurt either.
This looks like the start of a great summer. Fishing and swimming and sun tans, oh my!
